"Dear everyone, we gladly announce the application period opening for Photo and Video Journalists, essential part of our event.
**THIS IS NOT** the application period for participants willing to act as MEPs,Ministers,Lobbyists and Interpreters thus please do not make confusion, since we won't take in consideration your application twice. Do you have some experience with editing? Or do you just like it and think you have some skills? You will have a chance to capture the work of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe, by composing two videos of their official day to day activities.
However, if you dream of becoming a photo journalist, you have a chance to do just that. Do you think you have what it takes to be around the Ministers of the Council and Members of the parliament? Do you think you can capture the juicy gossip, the glamorous moments, as well as the serious moments? Do you think you can document the on goings of the conference and compose a show for all participants? As they say, a picture is worth more than a thousand words. Or, if you are more into videos, you will work on a documentary of the conference's progress and procedures as well as a fun video on everything unexpected that happens during the conference.
This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the most challenging simulation of European politics, and to produce the best memories for everyone. Please send your CV, a sample of your work (no more than 5 photos or a 1'30'' video) and a motivation letter (max 600 words where you may refer to previous works and courses) to email@example.com by the 15th December. We also welcome a letter of recommendation from your employer or university advisor (recommended but not mandatory). www.meu2011.org
